Mejillones en escabeche - 大罐裝

Opened the jar and the vinegar-and-paprika brine smelled amazing even before I tasted them. The mussels are plump and soak up the escabeche beautifully, and the large size means one jar lasts me a good week of snacks. Even with the old packaging showing up, I’m glad the contents didn’t disappoint.

The jar is huge, so one of these easily feeds a few people as a starter or a tapa. The mussels are firm and the escabeche sauce is properly tangy, not oily at all. I’ve already ordered another one.
